How Admin Spreads the Gospel

• Over the next four weeks we are going to look at:

1. Have you ever felt like your skill doesn't seem to fit, or give you a way to serve?
   1. I've heard several times from tons of people that they don't feel like they can be used.
      1. Extremely introverted
      2. Scared to speak in front of people
      3. Awkward around strangers
   2. Consider this, God created you, all of you, this includes your personality, skills and talents.

Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

3. God created us with a job in mind!
   1. All of those things that make you, YOU, are exactly what God needs, it's our responsibility to find where we fit.
      1. Observing the holes that you see around you
      2. Listening to the Holy Spirit
      3. DO IT!

2. There is something significant that we can learn from what Christin share with us today.
   1. We cannot simply sit on the sidelines no matter what fears, troubles or concerns we may have.
   2. We have already discussed how you were created with a job in mind and Scripture also explains in 1 Corinthians how we are supposed to work together.

1 Corinithans 12:12-27

12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body - whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free - and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 Now if the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

3. Paul makes it very clear that we are supposed to work in concert with one another.
   1. Think about certain everyday tasks that you perform with both of your hand, eyes, feet or ears without thinking.
   2. What about the different ways that the systems of your body work with and for each other.
   3. We don't have to actively recruit each system to do its job, it just happens!
4. We MUST support each other in good times and bad
   1. What does verse 26 say: If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
   2. This is something that we do through Life Groups, but we always need to make sure that we are doing this well and do it for everyone.
   3. In the same way, when a person or a team has a need, you shouldn't look to someone else to take care of it.
      1. If God has given you that gifting to take care of the situation, just step up and do it.
      2. With that in mind, one of the things that we are going to try to do over the next few weeks is let everyone know what kind of tasks are available for you to step up and take over beginning with Christin's Admin team.
