‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth’”

For that is what the Lord has commanded us, saying, ‘I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, SO THAT YOU MAY BRING [the message of eternal] SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.’”
We as a church bring the message and invite people to Jesus year round
@ReAlign @The Event @Party on the Lawn @Lifegroups @Church on Sunday. We pray, prepare, invite, and are excited but we shouldn’t calm down around Christmas time, we should spontaneously combust!
*Lets be on Fire/Amped up ourselves and spread that fire through inviting to Jesus party*
Christmas is prime time for evangelism
What did Jesus invitations look like when He walked the earth?
- Follow me
- living water/well that leads to eternal life
- Sell all you have and follow me
- who touched My robe
What can our invitations look like?
- what are your Christmas plans or your favorite Christmas song
- invite them to church/Christmas eve service
- encourage someone to take time to celebrate Jesus
- would you pray with me and thank God for Jesus
- talking about something Jesus related (getting their mind on God)
Jesus party being open to EVERYONE!!!
- Jesus wants each of us at His partay
- Overjoyed over the lost, like the Father in the prodigal sonLet’s be Amped up overly Excited Eager on Fire & likewise in our inviting
- Everyones invitation is tailored or personalized for them
- Jesus wants (all caps) EV-ER-Y-ONE at His party
Luke 2:15-18
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
