Session 4 - Commitment
1. He Equips Us To Do Everything He Calls us to do
Exodus 4:11-12
11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. He as able to fulfill his calling, because the “Sprit of the Sovereign Lord” was on him.
Judges 6:16
16 The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.”
"All right, they're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us...they can't get away this time."
2. It starts with Commitment to His Calling
Commitment -
the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.
Dedicate -
devote (time, effort, or oneself) to a particular task or purpose.
Devote -
give all or a large part of one's time or resources to an activity, or cause.
Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this
Numbers 30:2
When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said.

- Get God’s Heart For Your Calling
When my heart is broken for God’s calling in my life commitment comes so much easier and stays at the forefront of my mind.
