Saving / Borrowing
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
An evil person borrows and never pays back; a good person is generous and never stops giving. (CEV)
The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
1 Corithians 6:19
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.
1 Corinthians 16:2
On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
During the seven years of abundance the land produced plentifully. Joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities. In each city he put the food grown in the fields surrounding it. Joseph stored up hugh quantities of grain, like the sand of the sea; it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure.
