Revelation 2:1-7
Wrap Up of Ephesians

Ephesians Chapter 1:
-Living out our identity and relying on the Holy Spirit. 
-Being an encouragement and praying for other churches.

Ephesians Chapter 2:
-Living in the freedom of obedience, not legalism.
-Committing to pray for those who don’t know Christ.

Ephesians Chapter 3:
-Sharing the gospel with boldness.
-Going deeper in God’s love through a lifestyle of prayer and worship.

Ephesians Chapter 4:
-Living worthy of the calling of God on our church.
-Re-sensitizing our hearts to sin so we can call it when we see it. 

Ephesians Chapter 5: 
-Bringing sin to the light.
-Modeling our church’s relationship with Christ after the picture of marriage.

Ephesians Chapter 6:
-Honoring and showing gratitude to people around us.
-Exposing the enemy for who he really is and walking in unity as a church.

If we can take this stuff to heart, just IMAGINE the impact that Living Faith could have on this city and around the world!

James 1:22
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Revelation 2:1
To the messenger of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. 

Stars = Messengers/Pastors
Lampstands = The church 

Revelation 2:2-3
I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.  You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.

Revelation 2:4-7
Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.  Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.  But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.  Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
